I had fun watching the 1990 version of Total Recall which starred Arnold Shwarzenegger, Sharon Stone and Rachelle Ticotin. Both Arnold Shwarzenegger and Sharon Stone were the big names during that time and the movie was a commercial success (Thank you to my anonymous critic to point out that Ms. Stone is NOT yet famous during this time. Basic Instinct made her and that was in 1992---two years before this movie. Still, this movie was a commercial success.)
A remake of this movie will be coming this August 2012 and will star Collin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, and Jessica Biel. With today's CGI technology I'm sure this one will top the award winning visual effects of the original movie. Man, there's a lot of great movies coming this year!

The name Sharon Stone is not yet a big name during Total Recall. That movie (not a film anyway) was the one that just gave her the boost coinciding with her posing nude in Playboy. It's Basic Instinct that made her name "BIG"!
