One Afternoon at Lagro Elementary School

Took my son Tim to Lagro Elementary School this afternoon.  It was one of the rare times that I get to take my son to the school so I stayed a while to watch them gather in the basketball court for their flag ceremony.  Man, they had a fun way of starting out school I tell you!

When I was in elementary I could only recall that we sang the National Anthem, the Panatang Makabayan, and then sang the school song.  But Lagro Elementary School sang 4 songs total which the students sang with gusto.  Even when the accompanying minus one stopped at the last song the children continued singing.

Aside from the National Anthem I can't say I know of the three other songs but the last one had a phrase like this, "Mabuhay, mabuhay, paaralang Lagrong mahal..."  I assume that this is their school hymn and everyone loved it!

It is always great to hear children singing. Like if you stop by a sunday school, you could hear the wonderful choral that sound like little angels singing with full of joy..:)
