Season Two of Last Man Standing was filled with political overtones with the Baxter family divided in terms of political affiliations. Basically, the Baxter family is a representation of America's voting population: Mike, the unspoken democrat, his eldest daughter Kristin is the staunch republican, his wife Vanessa is the fence sitter, and daughter Mandy is the undecided neophyte voter. I guess with the US Presidential Elections at hand, the writers may have thought of using this as an electoral parody. Still, it was very entertaining! Vintage Tim Allen comedy!
One thing I didn't like about the new season is the replacement of Alexandra Krosney who played Kristin Baxter in the first season with Amanda Fuller. Personally I think that Amanda looks too mature and not pretty enough to be a Baxter daughter.
