Supermodels are not spared by age! Those whom I knew at the height of my puberty like Heidi Klum, Paulina Porizkova, Cindy Crawford, Elle Macpherson, Kathy Ireland, Rachel Hunter and Claudia Schiffer are now in the supermodel retirement home. Now, you can only see them gallivanting the beaches with their children in tow---no more catwalk for these ladies. Of course they've still got that sexy bodies but other than that age has got them holding on to the last vestiges of their glory days.
Fortunately, like cellphone models, there's always a new set of supermodels coming out! Oh, goody!
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition is one of the highest selling magazine in the world and with good reason! It is also said to be the "arbiter of supermodel succession". For a model to be featured in this yearly publication, good things are sure to come. Ask Brooklyn Decker and Kate Upton. They are the new faces who are now hogging magazine covers and ads!
