My Spider Dream

Man, all this reading about Spider-man may triggered my spider dream.  You know the thing about dreams when you remember the details after you wake up but when you try to relay this to someone---you can't seem to remember.  Well, all I can remember in my dream was that there were a lot of giant spiders chasing me.  Hmmm...was I being chased or I'm just a spectator?  See?  I'm not even sure right now.  But they're definitely GIANT spiders!

According to dream experts, spiders is symbolized by their intricate web which they use as an alarm system and at the same time as a trap for their meals.  As such, spiders are associated with manipulation.  This would mean that I'm either being manipulated or I'm the manipulator.  Well, I can say with utmost certainty that I'm not manipulating anyone.  Then it hit me---a big spider means a big manipulator.  No, not physically big but more in terms of position...a boss maybe.  A big boss.  Hmmm...that's a thought...I guess I can relate to that.  I guess it's part of the office dynamics but something I do not subscribe to.  But what can you do when you don't have a say in anything?  So just follow the flow.

Where Do You Want to Go?

Your success is bound by the limits of your VISION.  Everything starts out as a dream, however, a dream will remain a dream without ACTION.

So the question is really---"Where do you want to go?"  Once you've answered this question, it's time to takes steps towards your destination.  Well, you don't expect to teleport, are you?  That's science fiction.  In reality, the journey is long and often times---HARD (unless your father is filthy rich like Paris Hilton and you're set up for life).

The journey is important.  It is the one that builds character.  The hardships that come with it is even more important since it is the source of life's education; hence the saying, "failure is the best teacher".  So do not be afraid to fail.  Be afraid of NOT LEARNING from your failure because life is but a cycle of different circumstances.  Learn not from your mistakes and you're bound to repeat them over and over again.  Not a fun way to live, right?

Don't lose sight of where you want to go---detours and all.  Build yourself up towards your goal.
